1. Pin
[Other than 1.8L engine RH model]
1) Disconnect reservoir lead wire at coupler.
2) Clean outside of reservoir.
3) Take out fluid with syringe or such.

3. Lead wire
4) Remove reservoir pin or bolt. Use special tool for pin removal.
Special Tool
(A): 09922-85811
5) Remove reservoir.
CAUTION:
Brake fluid is extremely damaging to paint.
Do not allow brake fluid to get on painted surfaces.

2. Brake pipe
1) Install master cylinder and torque attaching nuts to specification.
3. Reservoir
2) Attach two hydraulic lines and torque flare nuts to specification.

(a): 13 N·m (1.3 kg-m, 9.0 lb-ft)

(b): 16 N·m (1.6 kg-m, 12.0 lb-ft)

3) Fill reservoir with specified brake fluid.
Connect reservoir lead wire coupler.
4) After installing, check brake pedal play and bleed air from sys-
tem. For bleeding procedure, refer to "BLEEDING BRAKES" in
this manual.
5) Install air cleaner outlet hose (and connect air flow meter cou-
pler).
6) Perform brake test and check each installed part for fluid leak-
age.
