The assignment of the version strategy is defined via the VersionStrategy key.

For automation-related reasons, the dialog function does not support a
delete version dialog. For this reason, strategies 1 and 3 are adopted for
version strategies 2 and 4.
The version strategies do not apply to links because no administrative data is
maintained in the database for this NC data.
Note
The version strategy is set once during installation. Subsequent changes should
only be made by Siemens to prevent inconsistencies in the data management
system.
