Importing or Exporting Saved DVR Settings
You need a USB device for importing saved DVR settings or exporting the current DVR
settings.

Note
If no hard disk drives are installed in the DVR, the Upgrade...
button is disabled.
Note
If the file system on the USB-IDE hard disk drive or USB flash
drive is NOT FAT16 or FAT32 format, you need to format device
using FAT16 or FAT32 format.
Select the desired file, then click
Highlight Install, then click
Cancel, then click
The system restarts automatically after completing the upgrade. The software
starts running after restarting the unit. It takes approximately one minute to restart.
Note
You cannot upgrade the software during clip copy.
Note
You will get an error message if the upgrade is not properly
installed on your DVR.
Connect to the DVR the USB device that contains the setup file (.dat).
Highlight Setup - Import..., then press
.
to install the selected software package. Highlight
to close this window without upgrading the software.
