Use a Phillips screwdriver to screw in six M6 x 19 mm or 12-24 x 3/4 in. Phillips screws on each end of
each rail (using a total of 24 screws for both brackets) as shown in
Figure 3-2

Installing the Chassis

This section describes how to install the chassis (transporting and elevating the chassis to the rack using
a mechanical lift, pushing it onto the rack, and then securing it to the rack).

For the first and heaviest chassis installed in a
rack, position two bottom-support rails at the
lowest RU on the rack.

four sets of 6 12-24 x 3/4 in. Phillips screws
