10 Repair and Disassembly

Removing the Paper Sensor Assembly

1 Remove the top cover assembly (see "Removing the Top Cover Assembly" on page 141).
Place the top cover assembly top down on a cloth or other soft surface.

Disconnect the paper sense cable connector from the recorder adapter board.

Turn over the top cover and remove the screw holding the paper sensor to the RFI bracket.

Replacing the Paper Sensor Assembly

The procedure for replacing the paper sensor is a reversal of the removal procedure. Ensure that the
paper sensor cable is properly connected to the recorder adapter board.

Removing the Recorder Adapter Board

Remove the top cover assembly (see "Removing the Top Cover Assembly" on page 141).
