Auto Paper Selection/Auto Drawer Switching

The machine's Automatic Paper Selection (APS) and Automatic Drawer Switching
(ADS) functions enable you to specify which paper source(s) can be used for a
specific purpose. This setting can be made independently for all functions of the
machine (such as Copy and Print), and is especially useful when you want to use
different paper sources for different purposes.
NOTE
The following functions are applied to paper sources that are set to 'On':
- APS: The machine automatically selects the appropriate paper size (paper source)
based on the original's size and copy ratio settings (when making a copy).
- ADS: If a paper source runs out of paper during a continuous print job, the machine
automatically selects another paper source loaded with the same size paper, and
begins feeding paper from that paper source.
The default settings are 'Off' for the stack bypass, and 'On' for the other paper sources.
