Honeywell Proprietary Settings for Configuring the Wi-Fi Radio

Use the Honeywell Proprietary Settings for advanced configuration of the Wi-Fi 802.11 radio driver in the terminal.
To access the driver settings:
1. Touch All Apps
2. Touch the switch button to turn Off
3. Touch the three dots
4. Touch Advanced.
5. Select Honeywell Proprietary Settings.
6. Modify any of the following advanced Wi-Fi radio driver settings:
• Enable CCX—select to enable or disable CCX support
• Fast Transition support—select to enable or disable fast Transition
• Enable 802.11k—select to enable or disable 802.11k
• Enable Power Save—select to enable or disable power save
• Enable Operating Channel Configuration—select to enable or disable Wi-Fi channel restrictions.
• Set Operating Channel Parameters—select to set Wi-Fi driver default channels when the Operating Channel
Configuration is enabled.
• Roaming Parameters—select to set and apply the Roaming RSSI Threshold, Roaming RSSI difference, and enable
or disable Legacy Roaming, Offload Roaming Scanning, Across Band Roaming and/or Roaming channel
Configuration.
• Configuration Backup & Restore—select to import or export configuration files and/or reset the Wi-Fi radio
configuration.

Viewing General Wi-Fi Info

The Wi-Fi Info power tool enables you to view the status of the Wi-Fi radio, information on current and available access points
and detailed roaming statistics.
1. Touch All Apps
> Power Tools
2. Touch the three dots
3. Touch Connected AppInfo.
4. Select either Connection Info or Roaming Tracker to view detailed statistics about the Wi-Fi radio connection.

Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

To complete the VPN setup screens, you may need to ask your ISP or network administrator for the proxy server name, server
type, port, type of Socks protocol used, and your user name and password if you do not already have the information.
