Decode bar code
Interpret bar code as ISO8859-1
Detect special bar codes and implement specific action
instead of normal processing.
• URL bar code starts browser
• Scan-to-Intent starts an application
• EZConfig bar code starts EZConfig
Convert to selected character set
Attach Prefixes and Suffix. The data string is composed in
the following order:
• Prefix
• Symbology Prefix
• Bar code data
• Suffix
Interpret substitutions of the Prefix and Suffix strings.
Activate a Total Freedom plugin.
Inject the final data string as Android KeyEvents.

Substitutions occur within the Prefix and Suffix string values.

Changing the Scan Settings of the Default Profile

The scan wedge settings are organized by app profile. Changes made to the Default profile apply to all applications with no
profile.
To modify the scan wedge Default profile:
1. Touch All Apps > Settings
2. Touch Internal Scanner.
3. Touch Default Profile.
4. Select from the following:
• Data Processing Settings
• Symbology Settings
• Decode Settings (see page 3-5)
• Imager Settings (see page 3-5)
• Trigger Settings (see page 3-6)
• Notification Settings
5. Modify the settings to meet your application needs.
