The following section guides you step by step through the configuration of the R-CPUs with
the CP 1543-1 communications processors.

Requirement
The configuration detailed assumes that:
• R-CPUs have been configured. For more information, refer to the section Configuring
R/H CPUs (Page 289).
Configuring CP 1543-1 communications processors
Proceed as follows to create the CPs in the redundant system:
1. Open the R-CPUs in the device view.
