APPENDIX 2. EXPLANATION OF CONTACT SIGNALS

Appendix 2.1 Introduction

Appendix 2.2 Contact Signals Entering e-Line Connectors

The following two types of contact signals are used in the
Chromaster series.
(1)
Contact Signals (START, STOP, BUSY) Entering the e-Line
Connector
These are contact signals having input/output functions that
are used in common for respective units. The contact
signals are composed of START (IN/OUT), ERROR
(IN/OUT) and BUSY (IN/OUT) lines.
(2)
Individual Contact Signals Used by Each Unit
These are contact signals that are input and output via 3-
pin connector. Their names and functions vary with the
unit. A name that indicates the function is given at each
connector.
Example of output contact signal : EVENT of pump
Example of input contact signal
Each unit has two e-Line connectors at the rear of the main
frame, and the respective signals of these connectors are
connected with each other internally. By connecting the
respective units in series via the e-Line cable, synchronism of
the Chromaster series can be easily achieved.
For obtaining synchronism with the L-2000 series and
D-2500 by way of contact signals, make connections as follows.
