1. Wipe the grease fitting clean so foreign matter
cannot be forced into the bearing or bushing.
2. Pump grease into the bearing or bushing until
the grease is visible. Wipe up excess grease.
3. Apply grease to the reel motor spline shaft and
onto the lift arm when you remove the cutting
unit for service.
4. Apply a few drops of SAE 30 engine oil or spray
lubricant (WD 40) to all pivot points daily after
cleaning.
