IMPORTANT:
Follow standard ESD and other safety precautions when handling the motherboard. Do not touch the contacts and avoid
using excessive force. Place the motherboard on a grounded, antistatic surface.
1. Remove the six mounting screws that secure the motherboard to the base of the chassis (see
page 19 ).
To minimize tension on the motherboard, loosen all the screws partially before removing any one screw completely.
2. Lift the edge of the motherboard opposite the connector panel to release the motherboard from the chassis, and then gently
slide the motherboard out of the chassis.
NOTE:
Make sure to lift the edge of the motherboard near DIMM area, so that the underside of this area clears the nearby screw
standoff.
Make sure that the connectors on the motherboard clear the cutouts in the chassis as you remove the board. Avoid handling
contacts or using excessive force.
