Bar code types

Choose from different bar code types to encode your text data. Each bar code type can
include a specified character set, a maximum number of characters and other specific
features.
CODE39
CODE39 can contain an optional check digit. The check digit calculation is based on modulo
43.
This bar code supports the following characters:
0–9, A–Z, space character, symbols - + / $ % .
Number of characters: Max. 62
ITF
ITF can contain an optional check digit. The check digit calculation is based on modulo 10/
weight 3.
The ITF bar code data must contain an even number of digits. A leading zero will be added
to the front of the bar code data, in either of the following situations:
The bar code data to be encoded contains an odd number of digits and the check digit is
not in use.
The bar code data to be encoded contains an even number of digits and the check digit is
in use.
This bar code supports all numeric digits (0–9).
Number of digits: Max. 62
NW-7 (CODABAR)
NW-7 (CODABAR) can contain an optional check digit. The check digit calculation is based
on modulo 16.
This bar code supports the following characters:
0–9, symbols - $ : / . +
Number of characters: Max. 62
