Procedures

Preparing for Maintenance

1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Press the enable/disable switch to the
D position.
ISENGAGE
4. Move the lower mow/raise control to the M
position.
5. Shut off the engine, and remove the key.
6. Wait for all parts to stop moving.
7. Allow the engine to cool.

Opening the Hood

1. Release the 2 hood latches

2. Rotate open the hood.

Closing the Hood

1. Carefully rotate the hood closed

2. Secure the hood with the 2 hood latches.

Opening the Screen

1. Remove the ball pin from the screen latch
(Figure 61).
