6.3.11 Replacing the ECC500 Collector

Prerequisites
Impact on the System
The monitoring of the corresponding area is interrupted.
Preparations
Tools: cable cutter, Phillips screwdriver, small-sized flat-head screwdriver, insulation tape,
marker
Materials: spare ECC500 collector
Documents: ECC500 collector port layout, documents delivered with the ECC500 collector,
management system initial configuration table
Skill requirement: weak-current engineer
Procedure
Step 1 Mark the connected cables and ports using a marker.
Step 2 Remove or disconnect all external cables.
Step 3 Remove the four screws that secure the ECC500 collector using a Phillips screwdriver, and
remove the faulty ECC500 collector.
Issue 02 (2017-01-10)
An ECC500 collector needs to be replaced.
A spare ECC500 collector of the same model is available and functional.
