for patients to steady themselves. An emergency stop switch must be visible and
readily accessible. Attach the handle set and emergency stop switch BEFORE applying
power to the unit.

Pre-Assembly Inspection

1. If connected, disconnect the power cord from the rear connector panel.
2. Remove the screws on the shroud back and remove the back panel and visually
inspect the following:

Drive Belt – The drive belt is correctly adjusted at the factory, but may
have changed during shipping. Before operating the T2100 Treadmill,
verify the tension of the drive belt. See
117 for proper tension tolerances.
Drive Motor Mount– Verify that the mounting bolts are securely tightened.
Harnesses – Verify that all wiring harnesses are securely attached.
Elevation Rack – Verify that no obstructions are present in the elevation
racks.
