Operation
Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.
Operating the Sweeper
The primary function of the machine is to sweep up debris
from large turf areas.
The sweeper is operated by using the remote control. Refer to
Controls (page 17)
for the proper use of the control buttons.
Positon the sweeper in the following heights when
transporting and turning:
•
Transport height (home position) is 33.7 to 38.7 cm
(13–1/4 to 15–1/4 inches).
•
Turn around height (offset position) is 21.6 to 26.7 cm
(8–1/2 to 10–1/2 inches).
WARNING
Rotating parts can cause serious personal injury.
• Keep hands and feet away from the sweeper reel
while the machine is running.
• Keep hands, feet, hair, and clothing away from
all moving parts to prevent injury.
• Never operate the machine with covers, shrouds,
or guards removed.
