protection, and a dust mask or respirator. A
mesh visor alone does not provide sufficient eye
protection; supplement with protective glasses.
Ensure that you are familiar with the safety
regulations and shutdown procedures described in
the Operator's Manual.
Ensure that all guards are in place and in good
condition.
Ensure that the paddles are in place and in good
condition.
Check all the grease fittings to ensure that the
machine is properly lubricated.
When preparing to mix material:
1.
Move the machine to a level job-site surface.
2.
Remove the machine from the tow vehicle.
3.
Chock the front and back of the tires to
prevent the machine from moving.
4.
Ensure that the drum is in the mix position
(upright).
5.
Ensure that the drum latch is engaged and
that the drum does not rotate toward the
dump position.

Opening the Cowl
1.
At the side of the machine where the front cowl
and rear cowl meet, grasp the latch and pull it off
from the latch anchor on the rear cowl

At the back of the machine where the rear cowl
meets the frame of the machine, grasp the latch
and pull it off from the latch anchor on the cowl

Rotate the rear cowl up and forward until it is
fully positioned on top of the front cowl

Closing the Cowl
1.
Rotate the rear cowl rearward and down until
the receiver at the bottom center of the cowl is
aligned with the V-fitting and flush on the frame
of the machine
