The boot command is used to boot the operating system.

The boot command initializes the processor, loads a program image from the
specified boot device, and transfers control to that image. The syntax is:
boot [-file filename] [-flags [value]] [-halt]
[-protocols enet_protocol] [boot_dev]

Notes: *The operator console is the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. This hardware is used to
enter SRM Console commands into the system.
Description
The boot file.
Specifies additional information to the loaded image
or operating system.This qualifier overrides the
setting of the boot_osflags environment
variable. See the boot_osflags environment
variable on page 4-17 for a list of settings and their
meanings.
