The bare PCB of UP1500 meets registered product-safety certification for the
U.S. and Canadian Underwriters Laboratories (UL and cUL).
Figure 3-1 shows the location of thermally-sensitive components on the UP1500.
A list of maximum allowable case temperatures for these components is provided
in Table 3-4.
Case temperatures are a vital factor in determining airflow on a Printed Circuit
Board (PCB). Variables which may affect a component's case temperature include
the following:
