Communication detail settings

Make the settings according to the usage environment.
Item
Set this item when change the transmission speed used for communication with the connected equipment.
Transmission Speed
(Default: 9600bps)
Set this item when change the data length used for communication with the connected equipment.
Data Bit
(Default: 8bits)
Specify the stop bit length for communications.
Stop Bit
(Default: 1bit)
Specify whether or not to perform a parity check, and how it is performed during communication.
Parity
(Default: Odd)
Set the number of retries to be performed when a communication error occurs.
Retry
(Default: 0time)
Set the time period for a communication to time out.
Timeout Time
(Default: 3sec)
Specify the host address (station No. of the GOT to which the temperature controller is connected) in the
Host Address
connected network.
(Default: 1)
Set this item to adjust the transmission timing of the communication request from the GOT.
Delay Time
(Default: 5ms)
Select the communication format.
(Default: 1)

Accessible to PXR/PXG/PXH
Format 2:
Accessible to PXR/PXG,
Not accessible to PXH

5.4 GOT Side Settings

(1) Host address
Do not specify a number between 200 and 215.
(2) Format
• When connecting to PXH, specify the format 1.
• When connecting to only PXR/PXG, specifying the format 2 is recommended.
(3) Delay Time
Set the delay time to 5ms or more.
(4) Communication interface setting by the Utility
The communication interface setting can be changed on the Utility's [Communication
Settings] after writing [Communication Settings] of project data.

(5) Precedence in communication settings
When settings are made by GT Designer3 or the Utility, the latest setting is effective.
