Installing and Using Honeywell Viewer for the First Time

The first time you access an HDZ Series IP PTZ camera, a client program, the Honeywell Viewer,
will be automatically installed to your PC when connecting to the camera. If the web browser
doesn't allow the Honeywell Viewer to install, please check the Internet security settings or
ActiveX controls and plug-in settings to continue the process (see
ActiveX Settings on page

After you have connected to the camera, a request to install an ActiveX control will appear
on the browser's information bar. Right-click the information bar and then click Allow
ActiveX control to install the ActiveX control.

Click Finish to close the installation window once the download and installation is
complete.
