boot.

special
tool
as shown.

Remove the
washer,
master piston and
spring.
INSPECTION
Clean the inside
of the
cylinder
and
reservoir with
brake fl uid.
Check
the piston boot, primary
cup and secondary
cup
for fa tigue
or
damage.
Check the
master cylinder
and piston for
abnormal
scratches.
Measure the master
cyl
inder
