When
the
engine is warm enough
to run
without
the
choke,
push the choke
knob
in
to its
off
posi-
tion.
2.
Turn
the throttle stop screw to obtain the
smoothest
idle:
To
decrease idle
speed,
turn the throttle
slop
screw
counterclockwise.
To increase idle speed,
turn the throttle
stop
screw clockwise.
3. Adjust the pilot screw
to
obtain
the
best off-idle
performance.
If
the
engine
runs rich
exiting
a
corn
er,
turn the
pilot
screw clockwise
to
lean
the mixtu
re.
If the
engine
runs lean
exiting a corner, turn
the
pilot screw counterclockwise
to fichen the
mix-
ture.
