Solenoid Type Lubricator Inspection
Inspect the chain track lubricator monthly. To inspect the chain track lubricator:
1. Check the level of lubricant in the oil reservoir.
2. Check surrounding area for indications of excessive lubrication.
3. Check that lubricant is being applied evenly to the bottom and side surfaces of the
chain.
Solenoid Type Lubricator Adjustment
1. If required, add lubricant (10W SAE non-detergent) to the oil reservoir.
Note: The conveyor's system software controls the operation of the lubricator's
solenoid valve. Contact person(s) who are authorized to make changes to the
software programming.
2. If the inspection shows that additional lubrication is required: either 1) increase the
amount of time that the solenoid valve is actuated and lubricant is dispensed; or
2) turn ON the solenoid valve more frequently.
3. If the inspection shows that less lubricant is required: either 1) reduce the amount of
time that the solenoid valve is actuated and lubricant is dispensed; or 2) turn ON the
solenoid valve less frequently.
