Magnetic Type Lubricator Inspection
Inspect the Chain Track Lubricator monthly. To inspect the Chain Track Lubricator:
1. Lockout/tagout the conveyor.
2. Make sure there is enough lubricant in the oil reservoir.
3. Check the chain bottom:

If the chain bottom has a slight sheen/wet look, and the lubricant is applied
evenly to the bottom and side surfaces, the lubricator is working properly.

If the chain bottom is saturated with oil, if oil is dripping or being flung, or if the
chain bottom appears dry, the chain lubricator needs to be adjusted.
4. If the chain lubricator needs to be adjusted, follow the steps in topic Magnetic Type
Lubricator Adjustment.
5. Remove lockout/tagout and restore power.
