2.2

Conveyor Sections

The conveyor consists of a drive section, intermediate section(s) and a tail end
section. Product to be conveyed flows from the drive section to the tail end section. A
typical conveyor arrangement is shown below.

2.2.1 Drive Section

The drive section is shipped fully assembled, and is considered the infeed end of the
conveyor. All drive sections are 6 feet long, regardless of specific accumulation zone
length.

2.2.2 Intermediate Sections

Intermediate sections contain one or two accumulation zones depending on the
overall length. Direction of flow labels are on the sections to ensure proper
orientation with the drive and tail sections. Zone control power supply (if provided)
and the filter/regulator air panel are shipped loose and must be installed on the
conveyor.

2.2.3 Tail End Section

The tail end section is the last section in the conveyor assembly. All tail end sections
are 6 feet long, regardless of specific accumulation zone length. The tail end
