Solid white: The Sync/WPS LED is always solid white. This is normal behavior. Blinking white: The WPS process is active so that you can connect a WPS-enabled device to your router’s WiFi network.

    Nighthawk WiFi 7 Tri-Band Router Model RS700 Connect to the router network You can connect to the router network using a wired or WiFi connection. NOTE: If you set up your computer to use a static IP address, change the settings so that it uses Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

    WiFi access. This information is on the router label. The WiFi password is also known as the network key or passphrase. • NETGEAR account login: The free NETGEAR account that you need to register your router, manage your router remotely, and manage your subscriptions. If you do not have a NETGEAR account, you can create one.

    Internet. When you start an Internet application, your router automatically logs you in. The NETGEAR installation assistant runs on any device with a web browser. Installation and basic setup takes about 15 minutes to complete.

    Usually, the quickest way to set up the router to use your Internet connection is to allow the NETGEAR installation assistant to detect the Internet connection. After you set up your router, you can use the Setup Wizard to redetect the Internet settings, or you can manually specify your Internet settings.

Set an Internet connection without a login You can manually specify the connection settings for an Internet service for which you do not need to log in.
