Figure 73 Trigger Sources

Video motion detection
This option makes use of the built-in motion detection mechanism as a trigger source.
To enable this function, you need to configure a Motion Detection Window first. For
more information, see
Periodically
This option allows the camera to trigger periodically for every other defined minutes. Up
to 999 minutes can be set.
System boot
This option triggers the camera when the power to the camera is disconnected and re-
connected.
Recording notification
This option allows the camera to trigger when the recording disk is full or when
recording starts to overwrite older data.
Camera tampering detection
This option allows the camera to trigger when the camera detects that is being
tampered with. To enable this function, you need to configure the Tampering Detection
option first, see
Action
It defines the actions to be performed by the camera when a trigger is activated.
