Engine Oil and Filter

When Change oil and oil filter (d) every 200 hours.
On new machines, change oil after first 50 hours of operation.
Requirements Engine stopped, but still warm.

Plastic sheet

Container of suitable size to collect drained oil

Fresh engine oil (see Technical Data)

Procedures Follow the procedure below to change the engine oil.

1. Remove oil fill cap (a) and drain plug (b) to drain oil.
2. Re-install drain plug and torque to 35 Nm (25.5 ft.lbs.).
3. Fill engine crankcase with recommended oil until the level reaches the upper
line on the dipstick (c).
4. Re-install oil fill cap.
Follow the procedure below to replace the oil filter (d).
1. Drain the engine oil.
2. Remove the installed oil filter.
3. Apply a thin coat of oil to the rubber gasket of the replacement oil filter.
