5. Turn the engine key switch and hold it until the engine starts.
NOTICE: Cranking the engine for more than five seconds can cause starter
damage. If the engine fails to start, release the key switch and wait 10 seconds
before operating the starter again. If the engine still fails to start, see Basic
Troubleshooting.
6. When using lights or high amperage draw accessories, idle the engine for a
period of 20 minutes to bring the battery to a charged state.
Dispose of waste batteries in accordance with local environmental regulations.
