4. Creating and configuring the tanks
Tank strapping tables or tank capacity tables can be linked via an
external file.
5. Creating and configuring the CIU Prime(s)
In the CIU Prime, the following parts can be configured:
Host port 1
Host port 2
Hot standby (required if redundant CIU Primes are installed)
Field ports 1 through 4
6. Creating and configuring the CIU Plus(es)
In the CIU Plus, the following parts can be configured:
Host ports 1 through 4 (required to make the CIU Plus compatible
with the connected hardware and software, i.e. Entis Pro, PLC or
DCS
Hot standby (required if redundant CIU Primes and/or CIU
CIU Pluses are installed)
Field port 1
Field port 2
7. Linking of the data inputs, tanks and CIUs
The site configuration created with Ensite Pro is saved as a Microsoft
Access
Database
'[Drive:]\Users\Public\Documents\Enraf\Ensite
Pro\SiteDatabase\SiteName' (see FIGURE 2-11).
This folder also contains the following sub-folders:
INI
This folder is reserved for Entis Pro INI files generated with
Ensite Pro.
LOG
This folder is reserved for log files.
STR
This folder is reserved for strapping table files linked to the tanks in
the site configuration.
