Problems Operating the Computer (Continued)
Problem
The computer appears to be
locked up and you cannot enter
data.
You tap the screen and nothing
happens.
You cannot type a character on
the keypad or you can only type
uppercase or lowercase letters.

port. If you still need help after visiting Knowledge Central, you may need to call Product
Support.
Before you can call Honeywell Product Support, make sure you have the following infor-
mation ready:
You can find most of the information listed above in Intermec Settings and in the One-
Click Internet application. Consult your application developer for information on your
custom application.

Find Your Configuration Number

Use the following procedure to help you find the configuration number of your com-
puter.

Configuration number
Serial number
Operating system version
WWAN settings
If you are using security, know the type (Wireless or Microsoft) and the full set of
parameters
Power management settings
If you are using Intermec Terminal Emulator (ITE), know the version and protocol. If
you are not using ITE, know the language your custom application was written in and
the tools you used to create it.
Look at the label on the back of the computer.
Solution
Perform a cold boot. For help, see

Disconnect the UPS battery. For help, see

If the computer does not boot or reset, contact your
Honeywell representative for help.
Align your screen. For help, see
You may have locked a modifier key on the keypad. Press the
necessary key sequence to unlock the key.
Restart or Shut Down
