Rear Window Wiper Motor
Replacement
1. Open the hatch, and remove the hatch trim panel
Isee page 20-53).
2. Remove the mounting nut IA), the wiper arm (8)
and the special nut IC).

3. Disconnect the 4P connector IA), remove the three
mounting bolts (8), then remove the rear window
wiper motor IC).

4. Install in the reverse order of removal, and note
these items.

• Apply mUltipurpose grease to the moving parts.
• Before reinstalling the wiper arm, turn the wiper
switch ON, then turn OFF to return the wiper
shaft to the park positon.
• If necessary, replace any damaged clips.
• Check the wiper motor operation.

Washer Reservoir Replacement
1. Partially remove the right inner fender.
2. Disconnect the 2P connectors IA) from the washer
motors (8) and level switch ICanada).

3. Disconnect the tubes IC) from the washer motors.
4. Remove the three bolts IA) and the washer
reservoir (8).
