Fault record function:
It will record fault state if the trip command is issued. It also memorizes the fault information
data. The user can see, through LCD screen, several data with additional information: date &
time, fault phase, tripping phase, tripping mode, fault location, operating mode and power
system quantities.
Event record function:
Events related to the IED operations will be memorized in the event record function.
Disturbance record function:
The start of disturbance recorder is triggered by fault detection. The user can see the waveform
recorded by this function using GR-TIEMS.
Automatic supervision
It supervises the health of IED hardware and protection applications during normal operation.
If a failure occurs, the supervise function can issue an alarm and screen the failure information,
such as warnings, problem locations, alarm degrees etc.
Hardware overview
The IED has human machine interface (HMI), which consists of LCD screen, indication lights
(LEDs), operation and function keys, and a USB connector. Input/output terminals (voltage,
current, binary input/output circuits) are provided.
HMI features:
- Menu-driven human interfaces for relay and control setting or viewing of stored data.
- Standard LCD screen with backlight (21 characters×8 lines)

Module features:
- Binary input circuits and output circuits (BIO) with configurable features
- Transformer module for AC analog input (VCT)
- Automatic supervision features for BIO, VCT module and others.
