Entering the MNP The Message Number
Period (MNP) is used in an ASTRO 25 system
feature that provides additional security in the
over the air rekeying of subscriber units. The
MNP number may range from 0 thru 65535, and
serves as an offset value used in synchronizing
OTAR rekeying transmissions.
