Settings Screen
The settings screen identifies the InfoCenter language
and units (English or Metric). The settings screen also
allows the operator to customize the backlight (bright-
ness) and contrast settings for the InfoCenter display.
If either the backlight or contrast items are selected, the
center button (--) or right button (+) can be used to
change the display settings.
Protected menus allows the chosen PIN to be entered
so that hidden settings for raise delay, lower delay, tapoff
time, reel speed and backlap RPM can be viewed and
adjusted as needed.
Protect settings allows the settings for raise delay, low-
er delay, tapoff time, reel speed and backlap RPM to be
hidden so they cannot be changed. If the protect set-
tings is ON, these settings will not be seen when using
the InfoCenter until the protected menus is selected and
the chosen PIN is entered. If protect settings is OFF (de-
fault setting), settings for these functions will be visible
on the InfoCenter and can be adjusted by the operator.
NOTE: If the PIN is forgotten, a temporary PIN can be
obtained from your Toro distributor.
Reset Defaults restores factory default settings for
units, backlight and contrast. Also, reset defaults will re-
store the factory settings for raise delay, lower delay,
tapoff time, reel speed and backlap RPM unless settings
have been protected.
Raise delay allows the adjustment of the delay of the
center cutting unit when the cutting units are raised by
the operator. The factory default setting for the raise
delay is 6 which is optimized for a 3.8 MPH mow speed.
Lower delay allows the adjustment of the delay of the
center cutting unit when the cutting units are lowered by
the operator. The factory default setting for the lower
delay is 6 which is optimized for a 3.8 MPH mow speed.
Tapoff time allows the cutting units to be turned off with-
out raising. The tapoff time represents the maximum
time that the joystick can be held in raise without raising
the cutting units. The factory default for the tapoff time
is 1 which disables the feature.
Reel speed can be set based on cutting unit height of
cut adjustment and expected ground speed. Refer to
chart in Operator's Manual for reel speed recommenda-
tions.
Backlap RPM allows the backlap speed to be adjusted.
To return to the main menu screen from the settings
screen, press the back button (left button).
