Controls

Traction Pedal
Note:
Adjust the seat position before you operate the
machine. Refer to the seat kit Installation Instructions
for seat-adjustment instructions.
Use the traction pedal
machine forward or rearward.
Move the machine forward: Use your toes to
press the top of the pedal.
Move the machine rearward: Use your toes to
press the bottom of the pedal.
Note:
You can achieve steady operation by keeping
your heel on the platform and pressing the pedal with
your toes.
Ground speed is proportionate to how far the pedal
is pressed. For maximum ground speed, you must
fully press traction pedal while throttle is in the F
position. Maximum speed forward is as follows:

To get maximum power under heavy load or when
ascending a hill, have the throttle in the F
while pressing traction pedal slightly to keep the
engine speed (rpm) high. If the engine speed begins
to decrease rapidly, release the traction pedal slightly
to allow the engine speed to increase.

Tilt-Steering Lever
To tilt the steering wheel toward you, press the
tilt-steering lever
steering tower toward you. Release the lever when
the steering tower is at a position that allows you to
comfortably handle the steering wheel.
