Heavy machine parts are handled regularly when operating the Arcam EBM System. Use the
provided loading trolley at all times and whenever needed call for lifting assistance. There is a
serious risk of injury if these items are handled incorrectly!

To avoid trip hazard, make sure to park the trolley in its allocated space, see Pre-Installation
Guide.

To eliminate the risk of dropping the build tank or hoppers when using the trolley, make sure that:
the trolley forks are fully inserted in the fork channels before lifting.
• the build tank or hoppers are fully inserted into the chamber before the trolley is released.
Arcam EBM provides a trolley to be used when moving heavy machine parts. The
trolley lift bracket is specially designed (differs between the EBM Machines) to han-
dle the build tank and the hoppers. A reload tray can be used to assist the removal
of small builds from the EBM Machine.
Procedures for proper use are found in the separate Trolley Manual supplied by
Svenema.
