Do not place your hands under the heat shield when the light curtain is activated — the heat
shield will fall down to the build table leading to possible injury. Always take out the heat shield
before performing maintenance etc. under it to eliminate the risk of injury.

Certain machine doors and hatches are supervised by interlocked
safety switches and will shut off various machine systems when the
doors or hatches are opened.

The moving parts (rake and build table ) in the vacuum chamber are
guarded by a light curtain that shuts off the actuators if interrupted
