This menu includes parameters co mmo n to the vo ice (bo th
Scenes) including T empo fo r Arpeg g iato r and Step
Sequencer, plus Effect-related setting s and vo ice naming
parameters. The Vari EF Dry:W et parameter can be edited
fo r each Scene.

The T empo setting determines the tempo fo r the AN 1 x's
internal clo ck in beats per minute (BPM), between a
rang e o f 4 0 and 2 4 0 BPM. The T empo setting co ntro ls
bo th Arpeg g iato r and Step Sequencer play.
Settings:
MIDI, 4 0 ~ 2 4 0
When Tempo is set to " MIDI" , the AN1 x's clock can be controlled by the clock of
an external MIDI device such as a music sequencer, connected to the MIDI [ IN]
terminal.
When the Free EG Length parameter is set to " bar" , the Free EG sequence will be
synchronized with the Tempo set here. For more information, see page 8 2 .

The Split Po int setting determines the no te at which the
keybo ard divides into lo wer (Scene 1 ) and upper
(Scene 2 ) zo nes fo r Split mo de play (SPL IT/ SPL IT
UN ISO N mo de). It also determines the divisio n fo r the
Arpeg g iato r o r Step Sequencer depending o n
Keybo ard Mo de setting .

Va ri EF/ EQ
Variatio n Effect/ Equalizer setting s determine the
Variatio n Effect type and data setting s, as well as EQ
data setting s, fo r the vo ice. There are three parameters,
including Param (Parameter), Data, and Variatio n Effect
Dry:W et.
The signal enters the Effect block from the VCA output, and passes to the
Variation Effect and Equalizer in a serial connection. For more information, see
page 1 1 . Also see the separate Dat List book.

The Parameter setting determines the Variatio n Effect
type and select parameters o f the selected effect as
well as the EQ .
