Receive Bulk Dump
A Receive Bulk Dump o peratio n lets yo u lo ad data back into
the AN 1 x fro m an external MIDI device.
The type o f data which can be received depends o n the
current mo de. Fo r mo re info rmatio n, see the MIDI data
fo rmat, in the separate Data L ist bo o k.
Befo re initiating a Receive Bulk Dump o peratio n, the Device
N umber fo r bo th devices must be matched. (Fo r mo re
info rmatio n, see Device N o , o n the previo us pag e.)

(Control)
Co ntro l parameters let yo u desig nate the type o f
Co ntro l Chang e messag es which can be co ntro lled by
the [MO DUL ATIO N ] W heel, each o f the eig ht
CO N TRO L kno bs, the [RIBBO N ] Co ntro ller, etc., by
assig ning Co ntro l Chang e numbers to specific
co ntro llers (" devices" ). There are two parameters
available, Device and Co ntro l N umber.
Based o n setting s made here as well as in the Co ntro l
Matrix (see pag es 5 1 , 7 3 ), yo u can use a sing le
co ntro ller to co ntro l o ne parameter o f the internal to ne
g enerato r and ano ther parameter o f an external MIDI
device, bo th at the same time. It also lets yo u
determine which device (MW , FC, etc.) to use fo r
Scene Co ntro l.
D e v i ce
The Device parameter lets yo u select the co ntro ller to
which yo u want to assig n a Co ntro l N umber.
Ct r l N o
(Control N um ber)
The Co ntro l N umber parameter lets yo u desig nate the
Co ntro l Chang e number (type o f parameter) which the
Device (co ntro ller) will co ntro l.
