(Tra ck N umber)
The Track N umber parameter lets yo u select the Free
EG track.
Settings: Trk1 ~ Trk4
The selected track will record knob movement data when Free EG recording is
initiated. When the [ EDIT ROTARY] switch is set to the VOICE FREE EG menu, an
empty track will automatically be selected.
Pa r a m
(Pa ra m eter)
The Parameter setting determines which kno b
parameter will be played by the data in the selected
Free EG track.
Settings:
O nly o ne parameter can be selected fo r a track.

Sce ne Sw
(Scene Sw itch)
The Scene Switch setting determines which Scene will
be played by the selected Free EG track.
Settings:
o ff, Scene1 , Scene2 , bo th (Scenes 1 and 2 )

Track J o b parameters let yo u reco rd a selected Free EG
track, perfo rm track co py o peratio ns and undo / redo a
Free EG reco rding o r co py o peratio n. There are three
parameters, including Rec (Reco rd), Co py and Undo .
Re c
(Record)
The Reco rd parameter lets yo u determine ho w a Free
EG reco rd o peratio n (o f kno b mo vement data) will be
executed.
After recording a track, the next highest numbered track will automatically be
selected for recording.
Settings:
REC O FF: Free EG is no t reco rding .
REC STBY Trk :
Standby situatio n fo r the selected track. The
Free EG is ready to reco rd based o n the Trig g er setting .
REC STBY All:
Standby situatio n fo r reco rding o n all fo ur
tracks at the same time (a different parameter fo r each). The
Free EG is ready to reco rd based o n the Trig g er setting .
Free EG Ba se Position
Kno b po sitio ns are reco rded in a Free EG track as increases
(po sitive values) and decreases (neg ative values) to the
" base" po sitio n o f the kno b, o r the po sitio n at which the
kno b is lo cated when yo u first mo ve it. After Free EG
reco rding , if yo u chang e the kno b parameter, yo u also
chang e the base po sitio n acco rding ly. Fo r example, if the
kno b base po sitio n is set to o hig h, the Free EG data chang es
may o ccur o ut o f the rang e o f the assig ned track parameter.
Therefo re, take care no t to set the kno b base po sitio n to o
hig h.
Co p y
The Co py functio n lets yo u co py the Free EG data
(kno b mo vements) o f ano ther track in the current vo ice
to the currently selected track, o r co py the data o f any
track in any vo ice to the currently selected track o f the
current vo ice.
