3. When the Hot Plate has reached the
required temperature, place the phone on
the Heating Plate with the Battery facing
up.
4. Wait 10 minutes for the Battery Adhesive to
warm up.
5. Remove the phone from the Heating Plate
or the oven.
NOTE
Wear protective gloves when handling heated
phones.
NOTE
Perform the Battery removal procedure before
the phone starts to cool off.
6. Use the Thin Plastic Spudger to loosen the
adhesive holding the Battery to the Rear
Housing as shown. Slide the Thin Plastic
Spudger across both sides of the Battery.
7. Use your fingers to pry up the Battery from
the Rear Housing.
8. Remove the Battery from the Rear
Housing.
