6. Insert the Shim between the Top Carrier
Housing and the Front Housing. The arrow
in the photo shows where to insert the
Shim.
7. Lift up along the edge of the phone.
// CAUTION //
Do not insert the Shim deeper than 1 mm.
Inserting the Shim deeper than 1 mm may cause
damage to the Display.
// CAUTION //
Do not insert the Shim between the Display Lens
and the Top Carrier Housing. Damage to the
Display may occur.
8. Slide the Shim Tool around the highlighted
perimeter of the Display.
// CAUTION //
Do not insert thel Shim Tool deeper than
1 mm at the indicated location. Deeper insertion
may damage the Display Flex.
NOTE
Remove the phone from the Pliers and repeat
steps 1-4 to reheat the phone as needed.
9. Remove the Shim Tool.
10. Insert the Thin Plastic Spudger in the gap
between the Display and the Housing.
// CAUTION //
Do not insert the Thin Plastic Spudger deeper
than 1 mm. Deeper insertion may separate the
Display and Lens and cause damage.
