Checking HDD Status in HDD Information Interface
Step 1
Enter the System Information interface.
Menu > Maintenance > System Info
Step 2
Click the "HDD" tab to view the status of each HDD displayed on the list, as shown in
Figure 10-21.

10.7 Checking S.M.A.R.T Information
The S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring
system for HDD to detect and report on various indicators of reliability in the hopes of
anticipating failures.
Step 1
Enter the S.M.A.R.T Settings interface.
Menu > HDD > S.M.A.R.T
Step 2
Check the checkbox of Enable S.M.A.R.T.
Step 3
Select the HDD to view its S.M.A.R.T information list, as shown in Figure 10-22.
