To get maximum power under heavy load or when
ascending a hill, have the throttle in the F
while pressing traction pedal slightly to keep the
engine speed (rpm) high. If the engine speed begins
to decrease rapidly, release the traction pedal slightly
to allow the engine speed to increase.

Tilt-Steering Lever
To tilt the steering wheel toward you, press the
tilt-steering lever
(Figure
steering tower toward you. Release the lever when
the steering tower is at a position that allows you to
comfortably handle the steering wheel.

Parking Brake

Whenever you shut off the engine, engage the
parking brake (Figure 16) to prevent the machine from
accidentally moving.
Engage the parking brake: Pull the handle up to
the E
position.

Disengage the parking brake: Use your thumb
to push down the button on the top of handle and
lower the handle down to the D
Note:
If the handle is not completely lowered, the
machine shuts off when you engage the traction
pedal.
