3.2 Mount a Eudemon200 to a Specified Place

The Eudemon200 firewall can be mounted in B68 cabinet provided by Huawei
Technologies. For details about B68 cabinet installation, refer to "B68 Cabinet
Installation". Here, it will not be described again.
If you mount the equipment in a cabinet provided by some other manufacturer or do not
mount it in a cabinet at all, you can skip this part.

3.2.1 Mounting a Eudemon200 into the Rack

The Eudemon200 firewall is designed to fit the 19-inch standard rack. Its dimensions
are 436.2mm (Width) ×420mm (Depth) ×130.5mm (Height) and its weight is 20kg with
full configuration.
Take the following steps to mount a Eudemon200 firewall.
Step 1: Confirmation before mounting.
Ensure the rack has been well fixed. The installation position for the Eudemon200
firewall has been well arranged and there is no obstacle inside the rack or around.
Ensure the equipment is ready for installation and has been carried to a place near the
rack and convenient for moving.
Step 2: Install chassis brackets.
Fix the brackets to both sides of the chassis with M3 screw by a Phillips screwdriver, as
shown in Figure 3-2.

Step 3: Mount the equipment to the rack.
Lift the Eudemon200 firewall a little higher than the shelf or guides in the rack and put
the Eudemon200 on the shelf/guides and push it into the rack.
Step 4: Fix the equipment to the rack.
