CHAPTER 2 FINISHER UNIT BASIC OPERATION
1.
Normal Delivery
a.
Simple Stacking
The finisher delivers copies directly to the tray.
b.
Job Offset
The finisher forwards the first or the last copy of a sort job to the stapling tray. The copy on the
stapling tray is delivered with a shift to the front of about 30 mm. Whether the first copy or the last
copy of a sort job should be shifted is determined by the host copier.
All other copies are delivered without being moved through the stapling tray.
