    Switch Management Interface Your NETGEAR GS700AT Gigabit Smart Switch contains an embedded web server and management software for managing and monitoring switch functions. This switch operates as a simple switch without using the management software. The management software enables you to configure more advanced features, and consequently improve switch efficiency as well as overall network performance.

You will need this value to access the switch directly from a web browser (without using the SmartWizard Discovery utility).

You must work from the same network segment that contains the switch (i.e., the subnet mask values of switch and PC host must be the same) and you must point your browser using the switch IP address.
